Reuters - Critics skewered James Franco for a poor job co-hosting the Oscars with some saying he looked stoned onstage, but on Thursday, the actor said it was likely low energy, not dope, that was to blame.

Auction raises $1.4 million for environmental causes (Reuters)

Reuters - A green auction at Christie’s to benefit the environment raised $1.4 million, with bidders paying $100,000 for a trip to the hottest Oscars parties or a day with former President Bill Clinton.

Investors in De Niro film sue to get money back (Reuters)

Reuters - A film financing company that put up nearly $6 million for the production of “Stone,” a crime drama starring Robert De Niro and Edward Norton, is suing the film’s producers for allegedly duping them into losing their entire investment when the film bombed last year.
