Hey everyone,

I can’t spend a heck of a lot of time here posting this, because I’d miss out on our first day of shooting   I will say this, it has been quite a ride since the end of February. The support has been phenomenal and we haven’t even shot A THING! Imagine when the pilot is filmed and it’s building up to release date…wow!! I said to my crew the other day…June 8, 2007 is the first day and the first step in the next chapter of our lives. Palmetto will only be as good as we let it, which means it will be nothing less than stellar in my humble opinion.

Anytime you can get this much talent under one umbrella, it’s euphoric! We are so blessed and this is just the beginning of our journey! We will have some behind the scenes pics, and interviews coming very soon, so stay tuned   wish us luck or break a leg and all that good stuff!

What it’s about:

PALMETTO is a tv/internet series/sitcom. Its based in the town of Palmetto, Florida. In real life, Palmetto, Florida is a “bedroom community” to Tampa. Its about an hour south of Tampa and many middle class people live there as it’s too expensive to own property in the city of Tampa.

But, there are more affluent people in Palmetto as well. Large estates line mangrove canals and small inlets and bays – perfect for a private yacht or two.

Our characters:

The story itself begins with Garrett. He’s just moved to Palmetto with his family and has made it very well known that he’s not happy about the move. He tries to fit in, and his best intentions lead to trouble not only for himself but his family.

Our next character is a troubled teen named Tyler. Tyler was raised by an abusive and neglectful mother and father. Tyler, a very introspective young man, dives through the peaks and valleys of life struggling to find a meaning to this world.

Tyler and Garrett quickly become friends and together with the help of Amy (a positive, friendly young woman who wants to be an actress), Mallory (a young woman raised by her grandmother), Hunter, and eventually Ryan they are able to overcome the tragic loss of Tyler’s parents, heal their wounds, grow closer to their families, and get involved in the community.
